Well hello there, loves! My apologies for my brief absence; it’s been a crazy couple of weeks. I hope everyone had a wonderful, wonderful holiday!
Like many of you, I have been wrecking my brain over the past few weeks on what to wear to my Office Holiday party. Yes, yes, I did read my own blog entry (Office Holiday Party, Much?), and yes, I took heed to all the advice I dished out (I did NOT end up being THAT person at the Office Holiday party, yay!). But for some reason, I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to buy something spiffy, shiny and new, or just shop in my own closet! For the sake of saving money, I decided on the latter. I’m so glad I did because I pulled out a very elegant, sleek vintage Tadashi Shoji black dress that I bought from Haute Crave Boutique during a pop-up show way back in August. I guess the “newness” of the dress (although not new at all), lost it’s appeal to me as the months rolled by; but just as soon as I tried it on a couple of weeks ago, I instantly fell back in LOVE. It is THE perfect Holiday dress! All black; timeless; classic. Not to mention, the sheer and strappy detail is so glam! Check it out!
Since I decided to go all black with the dress, tights and heels, I wanted to rock a vibrant, very holiday-esque red lipstick to add a pop of color to the look. To add just an extra splash of “vintage” and “timeless”, I wore a pair of gold button earrings to finish the look. That’s it! I didn’t want to over do it, so I kept it simple and sexy. What do you think?!
What did you rock to your Office Holiday Party this year?!
